Aéro-Sport Clubhouse and LFTA Flightschool
Since its beginnings more than 75 years ago, Aéro-Sport asbl, Luxembourg’s largest and most active aviation club, has offered pilot training to its members. Many members were trained over the decades and became competent and safe pilots who enjoy flying near and far. Also, many pilots who received their initial training at our club, are today successful professional pilots in Luxembourg and elsewhere.
In order to offer training for licences and ratings beyond the Private Pilot Licence, Aéro-Sport has consolidated all training activities into its own Approved Training Organisation (ATO), Luxembourg Flight Training Academy.
In addition to Aéro-Sport’s first mission to provide to its members the means and the environment to accomplish their flying skills and to fly the Club aircraft, Aéro-Sport club members organize many aeronautical and social activities like:
- Sightseeing Flights (contact our Office)
- Fly – outs to destinations near and far
- The annual training camp for pilot proficiency
- Pilot refresher courses
- National and international air rallyes
- Aviation related education
- Charity events
and many more get-togethers around flying and aviation.
Aéro-Sport is member of the Féderation Aéronautique Luxembourgeoise and participates in national and international Sports Aviation bodies.
